A Little Information about ME!

I grew up in Northern Virginia, about 15 minutes from Washington DC.  When I was growing up I enjoyed playing soccer, field hockey and running track.  When I graduated from college I taught Middle School Math at Fairfield MS.  I then became an Exceptional Education teacher in Hanover County at both Pole Green and Laurel Meadow.  When I completed my masters in counseling at VCU I was thrilled to start my new career as a Pemberton Penguin.

I knew I wanted to be a counselor when I joined the Peer Helper club in High School.  I love helping others and am thrilled to have a job that encourages me to do that everyday.  I feel so fortunate to be the school counselor at PES.  My number one job at Pemberton is to support the students and I have so much fun doing just that!

A little about my family...

This is Mr. Bazemore and my youngest daughter Charlee!

This is my oldest daughter, Sam, she loves the beach!
